Juggling Time Again!

Lately iv started to hang out with my co-workers outside of work, this is all fine and well because i met new friends my age but the same problem that has plagued me since i started college has crept up on me again...I HAVE NO TIME!! Every time i try and pick up a new interest, hobby, job, group of friends it seems that one part of my life starts to slip usually starting with school work. I do not like the fact that there are literally not enough hours in the day to get what i want done. Although at the beginning of this blog i complained about hanging out with my co-workers its great! I get to know them better and they treat me like an equal at work, the best part is i have people to stick up for me when the owner is around yelling at people. If i could find a few more hours in the day to fit my new friends in that would be great, but with home work my existing friends work and school I don't know if i will be able to keep up with my new pals. With mid-terms right around the corner i am going to have to wait till after to see if it works out with these new comrades from my job at Stregas.
Being a student is hard work sometimes!

Web CT

Everything is now linked into web CT if you like it or not. I am a sophomore so iv been here for a short time but in that short time i was never asked to constantly check web CT every day! I have a lot on my plate, keeping up with work given to me in class, working 30+ hrs a week on the side, going to class 5 days a week, attempting to get some sleep in between and now i an asked to check Web CT daily for more assignments that my profs don't even mention in class. If i don't have time to check web CT i am basically screwed so i guess i have to add another check to the check list and make some time in this busy life.

Hockey guys!

Iv been feeling very lazy and tired lately and i can only attribute this to my lack of motivation for exercise during these cold winter months. its impossible to go outside to exercise when its so cold out so i decided to find a solution to this problem. i went and found that their are many opportunities around campus when it comes to staying fit and exercising. although not all of these activities are posted for common knowledge i did find a few hours of FREE!! ice time at O'Keeffe center, AMAZING i know!
So if you are feeling a little out of shape get out there and find something that interests you around campus because there are plenty of opportunities out there you just have to find one that fits you.

Snow days

As soon as I heard there was another winter storm headed our way I flicked on the news late Tuesday afternoon and waited for school cancellations to scroll across the bottom of the screen. I waited and waited but SSC never came, what a disappointment. So instead of enjoying the evening as I wanted to I got a head start on all my homework. After finishing numerous hours of homework for my important new classes I was rudely interrupted by the Central Campus dorm intercom which yelled the instructions to "promptly move you vehicles to the next parking lot, not only was I exhausted in bed but I was in no mood to go out into the freezing cold. I did as the intercom asked and slowly got out of bed and walked out into the winter air to move my car. I awoke the next morning ready for class, switched my laptop on and checked the SSC website which read NO CLASS TODAY!!!!
After reading that good news the day went great I forgot all about my anger at the intercom and the pointless homework that was no longer due. I love snow days.
